Minister Carlos Bianco highlighted the importance of the gaming industry as a driver of revenue for public coffers. The funds generated by the casinos are channeled into health, education, and public works policies throughout the Buenos Aires Province. Bianco emphasized that in a complex economic context, the Province is sustaining the season with the reinforcement of security from the 'Sol a Sol' operation and the 'Marea Sanitaria' health program. The cultural agenda was highlighted, with free entertainment shows and discounts under the 'Cuenta DNI' program to encourage spending by vacationers. The festive event, which began at 8:00 PM, featured musical shows, wine tastings, and DJ sets that continued until the early morning. A notable technological feature was the live streaming of the ceremony to the Sasso and Hermitage casino halls, allowing gamblers from other parts of the city to share the start of the season simultaneously. Representatives from the culture and tourism sector, such as Victoria Onetto and Soledad Martínez, also participated in the event, consolidating political support for one of the most emblematic activities on the Atlantic corridor. According to the Argentine News Agency, the event was not just a symbolic act but also the stage for announcing an ambitious infrastructure plan for the sector. On a gala night that brought together locals and tourists, the Central Casino of Mar del Plata officially opened its summer season with the traditional launch of the first ball.
